I love how you used swimming in the ocean and the orientation of bubbles as metaphors for finding peace through stress using God's word. This was a wonderful analogy!

Thank you! I so glad you enjoyed it. I find that I can be my most authentic when I reach into my own personal experiences and I love the beach!

Good word here Ted. Very relatable to our modern experiences and navigating in a fast pace environment.

Thank you Adriane! John Eldredge inspired me and then I just looked at my own experiences.

p.s. I did once have a high-speed life now and since I turned 70, 2 months ago exactly... I'm listening to my body.

Great article but just an aside because I cannot resist. I could not afford to be a surfer so I "body surfed" in the Pacific ocean almost every day when it was warm. If I saw a big wave coming, I went under it, as far as I could go, before it reached me and i just listened to it pass in the quiet peace under the water. It worked every time. Santa Monica or Venice Beach. Thanks for indulging me.

Body surfing is so much fun. We did that all the time as kids before my parents bought up a boogie board. We don't near the waves on the East Coast as you guys get out west.

AW! Because of having to travel with work, I have poked my feet into The Atlantic but you know far-better than I. But if you EVER see a big wave approaching you... go to the lowest part you can find where you are... hopefully the sand at the bottom and I promise you will be safer. Blessings to You and Yours.
